I have a DVD burner on a Windows XP computer. I tried using the burner today for the first time. I got a few DVD's from the library and friends and tried making copies for myself. Although, when I put the DVD's into the computer(burner), it told me that the DVD's would not burn because of COPY PROTECTION. Is there anything I can do or download to avoid this and copy DVD's. How do you burn your DVD's?

Is it to much to ask for a lap top for christmas, out home computer sucks and im the best kid there it-No drugs, No drinking, dont get introuble AT ALL and have good grades. And this computer sucks, and my sister has a lap top..

it needs to be DVD SOFTWARE like DVD DECODERS AND DVD Players NOT necessarily programs to play it just to enable it to play

I bought my computer used so I don't have the software disc for my DVD-RW drive. After I put in a new hard drive a lot of my drivers and software were gone, like my dvd software.

I asked an earlier question today(Sun. Nov 26) as to whether someone can alter/chnage/delete information from a CD recording,and received some helpful answers. But I am afraid I don't really know what "burning" a CD means. Can you explain?

I say "did" because this is my last posting.
Over the last six months I've tried to share my twenty years of technical support and software development knowledge for no other reason than wanting to help. If deciphering the abysmal spelling and grammar isn't bad enough a fair proportion of other answers are complete nonsense or at best wildly inaccurate, yet people continue to produce this garbage with additional offensive remarks.
The same questions are asked with the same useless answers posted, well I bid you all farewell but offer a small thought for you all.
Windows Vista is going to catch you out and Microsoft Linux is just around the corner. Think about it.

I have tried to download iTunes but when I press 'Run' an error message comes up saying:
"Files/Content.IE5/OLUJO1UF/iTunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application"
Help! What does this mean? I have updated Windows Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player which is what others have recommended me to do but it didn't work. Somebody has mentioned a Windows Service Pack 2, what is this and will it help?

I use my brothers pc to access my hotmail account, he uses his own too. So when he turns his pc off and then on- (when it asks for his password)- it displays 'my unread emails'- is there any way i can remove this facility?
