it needs to be DVD SOFTWARE like DVD DECODERS AND DVD Players NOT necessarily programs to play it just to enable it to play

I bought my computer used so I don't have the software disc for my DVD-RW drive. After I put in a new hard drive a lot of my drivers and software were gone, like my dvd software.

Can anyone please help?

Download "K-Lite Mega Codec Pack" from
"http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm"
Windows media player 10 or 11 are capable to run DVDs if the right codecs are installed. Also install Directx 9.0c.
Thats all you required alongwith the upadates of Windows till date. Te lst one is optional but good if you can do it.

Why not just download Media Player Classic or VideoLan Player, both of which will play your DVDs without any additional software?

regrettably homestead windows Media participant does not come DVD enabled! presently, i discover that slightly ridiculous. besides, to discover the particular codec to play your report, attempt downloading a application called Gspot. it would help be responsive to precisely what codec replaced into used to create the video, and then it quite is in basic terms a count of finding on a seek engine for the codec (can frequently discover them loose). formats could be to blame for making video clips play with/without sound/video, the different way up, out of synch, backwards and so on...and so on.
