Why did I waste my time answering questions?

I say "did" because this is my last posting.
Over the last six months I've tried to share my twenty years of technical support and software development knowledge for no other reason than wanting to help. If deciphering the abysmal spelling and grammar isn't bad enough a fair proportion of other answers are complete nonsense or at best wildly inaccurate, yet people continue to produce this garbage with additional offensive remarks.
The same questions are asked with the same useless answers posted, well I bid you all farewell but offer a small thought for you all.
Windows Vista is going to catch you out and Microsoft Linux is just around the corner. Think about it.

Thank you for all your efforts. Those of us with expertise are sometimes discouraged with the questions and the things that pass for answers.

The only way we will turn the tide is for people who know their stuff to answer questions. If you don't, the no-nothings will win.

It's a shame that you feel that way. I understand your frustration as the same sentiments are starting to bubble to the surface with me. The only issue I have is that i'm being penalized because of some semi-literate nitwit who wouldn't be able to answer anything more complicated than "what's your favorite...".
If I had the choice I'd rather that the twit post for the last time and that people who are actually capable of providing intelligent Q&A's stay.

I agree. I'm new to this and I see the same thing over and over again. Either very specific, technical questions or stupid ones. I imagine this Yahoo Answers thingy will evolve into different catergories. Just a guess??
