It seems like many people just keep forwarding endless e-mail...you know, the kind that are cute, have a spiritual message, or chain e-letters.....you can tell that "hundreds" of others have already received these great works of communication. Don't people know how to actually compose an ORIGINAL idea or concept? Are they incapable of sharing THEIR feelings and not just forwarding the thoughts of others?

I have this pest trap pop up crap, every 15 minutes, my pc is fine Id like to kill the company that installed it without my permission. I`ve tried everything, uninstall, taskbar uninstall,and system restore, can someone show me another avenue?

I wrote my college essay on Wednesday (I MUST mail it tomorrow) and then saved it on my computer. I KNOW I saved it as a word document. I went back to print it today, and it's gone. The only version I could find is an older version before I had people proof-read it. I am so angry. I have been searching through the files on my computer for the past couple of hours and I can't find it. Does anyone know what I might be able to do to retrieve it.

for some reason whenever i go to my google homepage or log on onto my yahoo messenger its abnormaly big. now ive tried to go to control panel, display, then apearance. i went to the first drop box and set it to windows standard and still nothin happened. the only other windows options are windows large or x-tra large and no small. i would really like to know how to make my internet screen smaller cause its very frustrating having to scroll around to see everythin. if anyone is a computer wiz and can help me with this i would greatly appreciate it.

An online friend has a prob with audio(no sound since he reinstalled windows xp) I think it is a driver prob but he does not know how to find out what motherboard he has or what sound card or onboard sound he has, I have sent him to device manager which also points out he has a prob with his video, I suggested belarc advisor but that does not recognise that he even has a audio /video card installed ......... any help would be appreciated ,remembering that he does not know how to find out what mobo he has either?
It was bought from a television selling channel and came without any backup discs etc ...except for xp disc

The motherboard in my old computer was damaged, so this company replaced my computer with a refurbished from the same maker of my old computer and then they added my old hard drive to the new computer...the new computers hard drive is the master. Is there a way for me to transfer all of my outlook express folders, messages, and address' to the new hard drives outlook express? If so, how do I do it? There are important emails in the old that I can't even access right now. Please help me, I would be so grateful!

I have an email folder I want copied onto CD rom but cannot get it to work from outlook express. What am I doing wrong.

It usually happens when I am on the internet and right in the middle of something. And when I restart something called Tray Ap comes up and it wont close when I try to close it. Is this related to the auto shut down and what can I do to prevent this? I know very little about computers. Helkp???

in the drive properties were it says "compress files to save space" is this safe to do, and with 11gb left on my c drive how much will i gain, and how long does it take to do?
