Try the System Restore which takes you back to a time when your computer was working good. Go To:
start
programs
accessories
systems tools
system restore
This process is completely reversable. And does not remove your personal files. Just go back one checkpoint at a time until your puter is working good again.

Here you go,, do your uninstall of the program, and then go straight to system restore, and click on restore to a earlier point, look for a date closest to the time this problem started, select the date and click restore, this will take all settings back to exactly as they where before it happened to your system, i hope this helps you,, good luck.

Go to www.microsoft.com and search Windows Defender. This is a free tool, provided to us by our friends at Microsoft. It is one of the most powerful, broad-reaching anti-malware tools available, and it's completely free (providing you have a legit copy of windows.)
Restart in safe mode, and run msconfig. Make sure there are no harmful or suspicious programs running on your computer's startup. Now run Defender. Coupled with a good Antivirus program (McAfee is free with a Comcast subscription), using these methods you can keep your computer fairly spotless.

Your gonna need a good trojan hunter, a good spyware program, alot of patience, and Safe mode. You need to pay attention to task manager and what processes are using your cpu up. I think you need to be an above average techie to remove it. So if your not sure I'd let a Pro handle it....otherwise your only option is to reformat. Good luck

I've never heard of it, but I would use my pop up blocker. They work pretty well.
