You can burn music files (or any other file for that matter) on to a DVD rw as data. However, for music, you can only play it on your DVD or your computer. You can't play it on a CD player.

You don't need any software. If you have a DVD writer drive you can burn thousands of songs on one dvd. Just put your dvd in. and then go to your music folder and what ever songs you want, right-click on them, go to "Send to" and then pick the dvd rewritable drive and it will give you instructions from then on.

You can but it'll only work on the computer and on certain dvd players. it wont work in stereos

Yeah...u can mate, yet 'stand-on my own' CD gamers won't play them! you will might desire to the two play them on your pc/or DVD participant or additionally your vehicle stereo -- if it performs writable-DVD's!!
