The motherboard in my old computer was damaged, so this company replaced my computer with a refurbished from the same maker of my old computer and then they added my old hard drive to the new computer...the new computers hard drive is the master. Is there a way for me to transfer all of my outlook express folders, messages, and address' to the new hard drives outlook express? If so, how do I do it? There are important emails in the old that I can't even access right now. Please help me, I would be so grateful!
Thanks....

I can't find where to copy the files to. I thought they would be in a similar place on the master drive, but can't figure out were it is. Any ideas? The first 2 answers have been very helpful, I did find the old folders - but now I can't find where to copy them to. Computers can be so frustrating...Thanks for your help!

By default your messages should be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{bunch of letter and numbers}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Your address book should be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

Change the C: to whatever your old drive letter is... then just copy and paste to your new C: drive.

Yes, for Outlook Express just copy all of the *.dbx files from your old computer to the new one- the paths listed above are the defaults for Windows XP.

Be aware that you WILL lose any new messages you've received since you began using the new system... You'll be replacing the exisiting inbox/outbox and any subfolders you have with the original ones from your old system. If you wish to keep the new messages, create a new folder in Outlook Express (that didn't exist on your old system) and move the new messages there before copying your old files over. Oh, and of course Outlook Express needs to be closed down before you copy the old .dbx files.
