It seems like many people just keep forwarding endless e-mail...you know, the kind that are cute, have a spiritual message, or chain e-letters.....you can tell that "hundreds" of others have already received these great works of communication. Don't people know how to actually compose an ORIGINAL idea or concept? Are they incapable of sharing THEIR feelings and not just forwarding the thoughts of others?

The Internet facilitates many functions; by it's very nature, it is impersonal yet enables you to "communicate" with many people simultaneously. This allows those with sedentary writing skills to feel fulfilled by forwarding every message they receive to the multitudes in their address book and often a "reply all" as well. The original message travels the www gaining speed and receivers but loosing it's original purpose in the meantime. I think many people are lazy and feel they are doing a good thing by FW-ing irresponsibly & haphazardly. It's unfortunate but unless you advise your friends and/or block habitual FW-ers' addresses, you probably just have to multi-delete these unwanted "net-hogs". Consider it like junk mail that is delivered to your home....you can ask your Postmaster to deliver only first class mail, not the endless flyers and the like! Regarding the hope that these folks will be inclined to share their thoughts, you may have to find new resources (even outside the NET)....the Internet makes it too easy to be anonymously mindless and lazy!

I started sending back the emails to my friends and asked them to delete all emails below their reply because I don't have time and can't read them through them. I also tell them that I don't forward emails. It seems to have worked
