It usually happens when I am on the internet and right in the middle of something. And when I restart something called Tray Ap comes up and it wont close when I try to close it. Is this related to the auto shut down and what can I do to prevent this? I know very little about computers. Helkp???

Hmm, it sounds to me as though your computer is overheating. As you run your computer the processor (it's like the brain of your computer) heats up. Normally it can keep it self cool, but if the computer gets too dusty inside, the processor will heat up to much and shut it self down. To clean your computer:

BEFORE DOING ANYTHING, SHUT YOUR COMPUTER DOWN AND PULL THE PLUG.
1. Open the case (there is usually a screw or two in the back).

2. Once the case is open look for a group of large silver plates. (Should look something like this http://www.rahul.net/thinker/images/temporary/heatsink.jpg )

3. Use a vacuum and CAREFULLY vacuum the dust off these plates.

4. Put the case back together and your done.

Alternatively you can take your computer to a repair shop and they will clean it for you. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

I personally feel that your operating system has gone corrupt. I recommend a re-installation of your current operating software. But if u do that you will lose all your precious data. It would be much better if you ask a professional computer engineer for help.

is that happens only when you are on the internet ?

if so your computer may have been infected with a trojan/worm d(Blaster virus or smth. like it) .
