Everytime i try downloading a file it starts out with a high speed,but later drastically reduces to a far lower speed than i'm supposed to have..Can anyone help me?My internet connection is at 54Mbps using broadband..I'm using a wireless connection dat i connect usually to my router(Linksys)..

I've scanned my computer with spybot search & destroy , panda activescan & avg anti-spyware but to no avail.


My computer is actng very slowly. it takes a long time to open folders and programs. sometimes my computer freezes for 10 seconds.

i think it's spywares/viruses.
but what programs should i download to remove all these viruses and spywares.

PLZ. plz help me.

It's above number 3 but, when i press shift and 3 it comes out like this: #. Is there another way to view all the symbols and select it that way?

Everytime I start Windows Media Player it pops up my PDA which adds itself to my msconfig startup. This also happens when I start msn, yahoo, or icq messenger!

I recently downloaded a foreign movie, it also came with the english subtitles but they are in 2 different files. how can i put them together? so i can understand what the hell they are saying.

ever, but after a few hours, my computer has slowley slowed-down until it is practicaly at a standstill.(Even when i close all other programs!) I then have to re-start my computer to make it speed-up again. I have Win' xp series 2, 2.93 ghz p4 processor, 256mb ram, 80gb hdd. Could somebody please help me out here because i am getting pretty desperate!!!

Ok, there are a few pics I am trying to put on my myspace. They are photoshopped pictures. I have each them in ".jpg", which it says it accepts. I have shrunken and flattened each picture so that it isn't too large but myspace still won't accept it. It says, "there has been an error". I have tried to upload non-photoshopped pictures and it accepts those! I have seen other people with their own photoshopped pictures on thier sites but it won't accept mine. Can anyone help?

My disk space has steadily dropped by 400 MB over the last few months and I couldn't figure out why. I always delete my internet files, cookies etc. in explorer. So I went to my c drive, right-clicked on all the files, clicked properties and recorded the used disk space from each folder. Today my total disk space dropped by 10 MB. I checked each folder's properties and found that "documents and settings" has changed by this amount. In this, the only folder that uses up a lot of space is "local settings" which is using 460 MB, and the only folder in this using up a lot of space is "temporary internet files" with 5311 files and 9 folders for 453 MB. but when i double-click it, it's empty. However, if i click on "folders" I see that under temp internet files, theres another folder called "contents" and in it are 8 other folders with tons of files from websites i visited months ago. is this the cause of my drop in space? Why didn't these files get deleted? is it safe to delete them all?
