I've tried eBay: I'm either not getting questions to answers or the one I did buy (which stated Windows 95 and I checked with the seller) turned out to be Windows 98.
I don't really have a local computer shop and i'm not looking to spend more than £10.

I am downloading files, and burning to CD, but no graphics are shown. I downloaded an e mail, but no graphics were downloaded.

My computer has been restarting periodically for unknown reasons for a while now. I recently had my hard drive, motherboard, sound card replaced. The computer repair shop owner said that the only thing he hasn't ruled out is my P4 processor i got put in about 8mo ago. He said it is very unlikely that is the cause, but there is nothing left to check. He has been benchmarking it for days now and says that sometimes it will go 48hrs without restarting, other times it will happen 2x in 10min. What could go wrong with my processor that might be causing this? He said that if this isn't the problem then he honestly won't know what is wrong. I would hate this to happen :( If anyone has any advise please help! Thank you and God Bless.

PC Magazine had an article on these in the Nov. 06 issue, and I'm curious what your thoughts are about these? Do you recommend one above another (not in terms of diseases it fights, but in terms of how effective it works on PCs and how configurable it is for things like CPU usage.) PC Magazine had a few listed, but I'm cuirious to hear about your experience with other distributed computing applications.

every time the pc is on i keep getting the really annoying pop ups ie drive cleaner .
i have spybot search and destroy and no adware i have zone alarm but still get all the pop ups how do you stop them

The curser just goes all over the screen. This is a cordless mouse and I have changed the batteries but this did not help.

when i try to use search facility it tells me something is missing and i may need to run setup. When i try and run setup it tells me to go to control panel to install and configure system components.

I dont have any original discs with this computer and this is an ongoing part of my previous problems on my other questions concerning loss of system restore and defrag

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Im looking at a web page which has a picture that keeps changing when I click it - is there any way I can print the page? I would usually just right click and copy the pic but right clicking just changes the picture development. Anything I could try? Thanks

Ive just bought my daughter a second hand laptop off ebay and cant get it logged on. It wants user, domain and password. text already appears in the box USER as 'user' and Im told the password but it isnt correct/not working. The CANCEL icon isnt hilighted so I cant select that.The seller wont respond to my messages. Can I override it in anyway? Help!!!

Everytime i try to add a rss feed to my 360 it goes straight to my yahoo 7 account.. I never use that account but am to affraid to delete it incase it wipes my 360.. and ideas on how to help me fix this problem or how to get the feeds up on 360?

hey people ...can any one tell me which file or software to use to read the files sam and SECURITY? stored in the folder windows>sysytem>32>config?? ..... sam means security accounts manager n most probably its the file which contains my password for win xp .....my win xp password is lost ... most probably they r stored in any of these two files .....i have both 98 n xp installed ...i dunno wat to do to read the files.....in wordpad n notepad ...jus sm special characters appear...pls telll me how to search my xp password.....i llb really grateful to you ..... for this....
