every time the pc is on i keep getting the really annoying pop ups ie drive cleaner .
i have spybot search and destroy and no adware i have zone alarm but still get all the pop ups how do you stop them

Try running Ad-Aware SE Personal in Safe Mode.

Before attempting to remove malware you must switch off System Restore as back up files will be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run your anti virus and anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

attempt using AdAware with the device disconnected from the internet (after having gotten the newest AdAware replace.) If that would not artwork, get a router and placed it between your device and the modem that talks on your ISP. Routers have some firewall purposes, so it is functional to have one in spite of while you're in basic terms using a unmarried device on an ISP port.

A pop up blocker should do it. I use the one in the yahoo toolbar.
