If your e-mail account is with MSN, you will have to sign on to MSN to use your email account (Read - Send - Delete - whatever)
You could, though, set up Outlook Express (or any mail reader/manager program) to sign on and manage your e-mail for you.

You could either use a POP3 Email program such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express or use msn,co.uk and click on hotmail.
