I want to type out my homework and do my report but I just can't find the on/off buton / switch for my computer! I also want to surf the net and do some research but I cannot because this computer is off :( please help!

If there is no button on the front of the case, have a look on your keyboard - a lot of keyboards have a power button. Try pressing that. You could also have a look on the back of the computer to see if the PSU has a switch on it.

You could buy a typewriter.
You won't be able to surf the web, however if you can't turn on a computer you probably can't get on the internet.

The off/on button is uaually pretty obvious on the front of the tower. Is anything on? perhaps it's unplugged or if it is connected to a power strip maybe it's tripped.
