Computer Wiz's Help please?

Question

Ok this is the problem my volume works on the computer but when i go on the internet no sound comes unless i restore down minimize maximize etc please help me and when i got to volume it says that my mixer device is not installed what the heck is a mixer divice help me please

you have a problem with your sound card driver. you need to reinstall it, you need to get a driver from the manufacturer´s page.
You must look at the device manager to look for some devices conflict... (right click on mi pc, properties, hardware, device manager) if you llok for yellow question markets or red crossed devices, you mus try to enable the redcrossed right-clicking on them and selecting "enable", in the case of the yellow question marks, you must right click and choose "update driver". Here you can use teh facility of win xp to help you to get the driver from internet. or you can use the windows "add new hardware assistant" if you have not these marks and still having the problem, look for update your driver in your manufacturer's web page

go to start up menu> select run> type dxdiag
this will give you info re the status of other devices installed such as the audio.it will tell you if theres something wrong with the audio and help troubleshoot it as well.

you can try to update your drivers in device manager. if you have a sound card it should of come with a disk , try running that .and you can go to system information (start -programs- accessories- system tools-SYSTEM INFORMATION hit that and when it comes on go to the top and click tools and then click on test direct-X there you can test your sound vidieo etc good luck.

its probably something wrong with your speakers or sumething. you could probably download the mixer device online. the best way to find a site 2 download it at is to search for it on Google
