My printer does not read the ink color properly. When I inserted the BJ black ink Cartridge, when I started printing will read its a photo/colored ink, instead of black ink. What are the solutions? does it need to reinstall the driver? its a hardware problem? pls help

I am in the process of starting my own home-based "Ink-Cartridge-Refiling" business. I must start on a very small scale - to start, I will refill HP Inkjet cartridges only.

In addition to your HP Printer Model #, & what inkjet cartridges it uses, it would also be helpful to state wheather it is required to be connected to a computer, or wheather it is a "Stand-Alone".

Examples:

HP Deskjet 940c - uses #15 Black & #78 Color; computer connection required.

HP Deskjet F-340 All-In-One; uses #21 Black, #22 Tri-Color, & #58 Photo; is a Stand-Alone; no CPU required [for photocoping].

HP Photosmart C4210 All-In-One; used #74 Black & #75 Color; is a Stand-Alone.

ADDITIONAL QUESTION: I have one CPU {Computer} - it has
2 USB Ports - Is there a way, using a USB adapter {or something} to where I could have 6 USB ports, to operate 6 differect printers using this computer only?

If you have had your cartridges refilled, are you having any problems with them?

Thanks,

Ken

The cardstock size is 4 and 7/8th by 7 in a landscape format. I have set my custom paper size to do that and my margins but it keeps cutting the first two lines off and is printing to high. When i look at it on print preview it looks fine. any ideas?

My trusty Epson Stylus RX500 all-in-one has develoiped an unfortunate sheet feeder problem. The paper goes in and starts printing, but one side soon gets stuck and bunches up.

Can this be fixed? If so, how do you suggest I go about it?

Should it be fixed? Is what I would need to do to get it running more trouble than it's worth?

Facts and opinions welcome. Thanks!

It's HP 1210 printer
The same ink cartridge has been in it for almost a year and it has been printing fine- now all of a sudden it comes up with a message saying "your ink cartridge is the incorrect model for this printer" and it's flashing error saying "check ink cartridge"
I've tried unplugging it, and plugging it back in, as well as restarting my computer. It still won't do anything
Any advice?? Thanks!

I can't find the right size of labels for a laser printer - so I bought the ones for an ink jet. I know that if I did it the other way around (used laser printer labels on an ink jet printer - that they wouldn't dry). But - can I use ink jet labels on a laser printer?
