I found a stone in the rollers which couldn't have done it much good. I've since replaced the cartridge and ran the clean nozzles and heads program several times. Is there anything else I can do before I bin it?

There are 8 labels, in 2 columns on an A4 sheet. Is there an easy tool or something that already lays out the labels on the page so i can just add the addresses?

There must be an easy way to do this!

I have a HP PSC 1110 all-in-one and it has been doing quite a great job for printing and scanning needs for a long time.

However I have discovered that recently that when it is switched on, it makes a terrible and irritating noise that sounds like screwed-up gears. But after that, the printer operates normally.

I want to know the source of this problem and also possible solutions to this issue. The noise is loud and unpleasant to the years and I want to fix it.

Any help and assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Since last christmas I changed my printer from a Canon to HP deskjet, all was OK last year. The label sheets print OK but don't line up with the template. The label maker DECAdry provide a template for the labels the file for which is held in an Avery wizard inserted in Word 2000 which also contains the label details. I have checked template in the tools menu and it seems OK. It isn't just the top spacing, label spacing is wrong too.Can anyone help as I have a few hundred cards to get out next week?

I cannot have more than one piece of paper. If I feed one piece a time, sometimes it will be okay but others it jams half way. Please send me detail step by step how to open and/or clean, etc.

My IT knowledge is less than a child's ability to talk at one year of age LOL I know the price of printers is low so those who have good knowledge please advise how to fix or do I dump it.

Also tell me the advantages and disadvantages of wireless printers. Thank you

Hi,
As most of the people that had bad experiences with printers, I am trying to find something that I can rely on when I need it.

I have a inject printer that just dried its ink and that after buying new ink wasted everything to get it fixed.

I have decided to buy a good laser printer but now that I found a lot of "goods and bads" on many of these printers I just don't know what to aim for.

what would you recommend as a good laser printer. Price can be around 300.00 but I am not sure about the consumables that get your pocket going every month. Will it be better to find a high printer with low cost ink or a low cost printer with hight cost ink? I am interested in good quality text and medium quality graphics.

Thank you

I just bought a new black ink cartridge and replaced it since the old one was worn out. Ive printed in both black and color since then, for maybe a week now.

However, since yesterday the pritner wont print any document in black ink. Ive ran the test page and it is printing in black and color but when i try to print the document, it wont print in black.

I have already wiped the head of the cartridges before trying again, but with no luck. Any Ideas?

I need to get a printer that can print crack and peel, 5-inches x 3 inches.
I need to print 100,000 labels a month crack and peel.
I need the printer capacity to be able to do a clear coat paint over the labels because I have to use these for a beverage product that has to be water resistant.
Is there a printer that can use spools as well? ( round rolls of paper ) Its not a necessity to use spools but it would help when peeling off the labels.
So we are talking self adhesive peel off labels.
I will be using foil paper.
My concern is that I do not want the ink to run or smudge.
I need a shinny finnish.

revealingly, their website doesn't have a comments/complaints section, but in any case they'd probs spin some yarn about the quality of the print. But why, when you want only to, say, print text in purely black ink, does the printer not work unless stocked in both black AND colour. They are not only expensive, they can also be hard to find, especially if your local shops do not stock them or you have an older or less popular model of printer. So I amnow waiting for another colour cartridge, which has cost me money, with a stack of work that cannot be printed.
