The word is "deleting", not "deleating",
so, obviously, your printer is defective. ;)

Seriously, though, the pop-up or whatever you're seeing that tells you it is deleting, is the printer's SOFTware. But, most printers do not have the ability to stop what they are doing once they have started it; thus, the HARDware is not complying with the software's request.

It is perfectly normal . . . annoying, but normal!

The easiest thing to do is to close the printer pop-up or whatever, then turn off the printer, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on (the wait time is to allow the power to cycle down, fully; turning it on too quickly can damage the circuitry; the same goes for your computer and anything else running on alternating current (i.e., the power socket you plug the device into)). Then, re-print the document, starting from the page it ate/ruined/didn't print/whatever (some text software, such as MS-Word, have that functionality; others don't).

Probably you were trying to print a huge file, and printers memory is full, and it stays for eternity as deleting (or the file was moved).
Anyway, unplug the power cord of the printer and plugit in after 15 seconds. Restart your computer.

Power it down. Go to Print Manager and flush the remaining jobs. Power the printer back up.
