im at my aunties in adelaide and im leaving tomorrow so i need quick answers unfortunately. usualy im a wizz at this but at the moment it hates me. it says there is no paper in the drawer, but there is at least 15 peices. is it a technical problem, or is it just a small problem i can fix?

Sounds like a broken sensor.

Usually a smal arm that get allowed to lift then no paper present, if it's broken, not worth fixing usually, just replace the printers now

Take the paper out of the printer, look down the slot and you will see what looks to be a plastic peg usually on the left side if your looking from the back, take a Q tip and some 99% isopropyl alcohol and just clean around the paper sensor and make sure it moves freely, what happends is paper dust will build up around the sensor causing the problem, try it again when done, sometimes this will work and sometimes you have to split the printer case to clean it properly, good luck and hope this helped.
