On your computer, you'll be writing the letter on a word processing program. Usually, the computer will have Microsoft Word or WordPerfect installed on it. To get to that program:
1. Click the START button.
2. Click PROGRAMS. Look over the list - you should find Word or WordPerfect. If you find one of those, click on it. (If you don't find one of those, click ACCESSORIES, and then click Wordpad).
3. Type your letter.
At the top of the screen, click the word FILE. Click the word PRINT.
The printer will start and print out your letter.
When you exit the letter program, it will ask you if you want to save the letter - choose yes or no.

You need a word processor or simply use Windows Notepad to type the letter. Once done, save the file and then click "print" from the File menu.

You don't need to be on the internet to go into Microsoft Word or Microsoft Works or Word Pad, type your letter, and choose file to print from the top of your screen. I hope this helps.

Assume we are talking MS Word?. Open a new document, Check your page setup is same as paper you use(File>Page Setup). Now, go to the Veiw, select Print Layout.Again, in View, Zoom>Page Width. Ensure the 'Style ' is set to 'Normal'. Type in your address, it will be aligned down the left margin at this moment. Select the Address by running your cursor backwards/upwards over it. On the Ruler Bar at the top, on the Left side, you will see a triangle pointiing down, under that, a triangle pointing up, under that, a small square. point to the small square, left click and hold, then drag it to the right. Your text will go to the right as well, stop wherever you want. Now, go to the end of your text with your cursor, press enter to get yourself on the next line. Backspace, and your entry point will now go to the right. You may check your formatting, by selecting your text, Format> Paragraph. Look at 'indentation' and 'line spacing'
