I assume you've checked the ink cartridge to make sure the jets aren't blocked and done all the things the help section of the Lexmark program has told you to do so my advice is:

Return it. If you can't then burn it. We had no end of problems with our Lexmark. We ended up trashing it and getting a new one from a diff. company. I hope you don't have to go that route.

1. Open the top of the printer.
2. Remove the ink cartridge.
3. Pull the strip of tape off of the bottom of the ink cartridge that was put there to prevent ink leaking during shipping.
4. Replace the cartridge. Good to go.

If you have multiple printers defined, make sure you are selecting the right one when you print. Your old printer may be defined as the default printer, which could be a problem.

maybe it's broken, there is a way to print a test page from the front panel controls....read the directions to find out how

can you check the ink level? you should be able to on your computer - also could try uninstalling software, shut down computer and printer (even unplugging everything), then start completely fresh

Did you take the tape off the cartridges that are covering the printhead?
