I am about to build a system with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600, 2 hard drives, & a Raedeon 9800 Pro graphics card. I'm doing a lot of 3D rendering & graphics. Does anyone recommend a fan they've found to be extremely quiet & efficient? I'm going to put 2 in: one on the side of the case as an intake & one in the back as an exhaust. Thanks!

If not tell me where it needs improvements and please make sure you know what you are talking about.

The reason I ask if it can play Oblivion at full graphics is because if it can handle that tan I should be set for another year or so ^_-

does anyone know how i can access the file without formatting, as this erases the floppy disc, the data on the floppy was saved using windows 98, trying to access using xp, any ideas, please help?

I am having a serious problem.You might have heard about the flood in Gujarat, India. I live there and my office got flodded. My PC was full in water. After the flood was over I removed my harddisk and connected it to my home PC, but nothing is coming. During booting it shows the extra drive but it does not show in "My Computer". I need my data, can anyone tell me what to do. I know that there is something wrong in the circuit on the harddisk. Is there anyway out.?

Throughout the near 10 years i've had a pc, i've never had the max amount of memory installed. Oddly enough, i've been stuck on buying 256mb for every pc i've had. I've had about 3 different pc's with different memory types. The current one takes DDR2700, and YEP, I have 256mb in the thing. Is it always good to go with the max amount of memory, especially if doing video processing and other things with the comp? Does having the max amount of memory make your computer work faster? more stable? Is there a limit on the amount of memory to install, where it would be almost overkill? For example, if i put in 2 ghz of memory in my system, would it work better than having 1 ghz? Would i notice a difference?

it like it is stuck and i have to lift it up and put i down and it sticks when it is moving, it is like it's not getting a good grip. the pad is about 6 months old.. Is it the ball , the mouse pad or the mouse itself.

When playing Medal of Honor Allied Assault, and Counter Strike Source, my comp will shut off in the middle of gameplay. All fans are working properly, and I took the side panel off of the comp for more ventilation. The comp was sitting on the carpet so i put it on top of some books. Is there a certain distance from the carpet that the comp needs to be? All drivers are updated. Also, if the auto shutdown due to temp is enabled should i turn it off?

i was useing my flash drive the other night and now i can not use it. when i put it in a usb port i hear it connect but when i look at the drive itself in my computer that drive says insert a disk and i know its in and i try to use the built in properties and it is showing that the device is full atleast by the gragh and it shows no free space the file system says 'RAW' and and when i try to use the fomat program that is on there it says windows was unable to format. is there some other way to clean this device or get it to work or is it fried, i hope not. oh yea i am useing Windows XP the flash drive is a 'PNY Attache 512mb' and i dont want to lose it. all the help would be helpful, thanks....jeff
