if you mean cracked in half no, if you mean cracked like, a deep scratch you can get a Skip Dr. CD Resurfacing Kit at most electronics stores for about $20.

I have seen in the net some people offering to recover data from a cracked cd. I think if you stick the cd firmly together without much distortions the cd will rotate in the drive smoothly and there are some software which read the readable areas and restore the data to your hard disk. Best is to try in the net.

No, in your office.
Yes, in a scpecialised lab, with specialised programs.
The CD has to be "repaired" first, then passed into a CD reader with a program that read "whatever data" is available and try to re-generate the damaged data. (The bits along the crack are unreliable, so the program has to "guess" what they were.)
On the other hand, the disks are written with "error corrections" bits that the program can use. HP used to pierce a 5mm hole in a CD... and still read it ok!

if its bad damage nope cose your cd drive cant read the data on it try this to get the files if its not to bad open my computer
put the cd in the driver
then right click on your cd driver and click on explorer that will open the window to the cd
now make a new folder on the desktop
right click the desktop click on new/folder
open the new folder then go back to the cd window & at the top click on edit/select all
then click on edit/copy
then go to the new open folder
at the top click on edit/paste
now if the cd is not that bad damage the files from the cd will copy over to the new folder if the do then you can burn them back on to a new cd(R) blank disk
