On the back of the router there will be a small hole, possibly marked "Reset". What you need to do is unplug the router, press the button in the hole (using something like a paperclip), plug the router back in, but keep holding the reset button for at least 30 seconds. This should reset the router to the factory defaults, meaning you will lose any information in the router.

For most linksys routers I've worked with there is a reset
button in the back. If you hold it down for 30 second (I think,
might be less) it resets the router to factory default settings.
That's everything, including the password.

You simply need to reset the router. There should be a small button that you can press using a pen or paper clip. I believe you have to press the button for several seconds (10 maybe).

click on
start-run-(TYPE)cmd-(in the black box type)-ipconfig.
note the default gateway for the wireless.then just open internet explorer and type the default gateway in the address bar(It would be something like 192.254.1.0)and it will take you to the default pade of the router and set ur password from there
