One of the monitors im thinking of getting for my pc claims a resolution of 1440 x 900. But when i enter the Display Properties (settings), windows xp does not provide me with such a resolution. How is this fixed after i install my new monitor?

It doesnt exactly wobble but it shivers from the top to bottom of the screeen. Are there any settings where i can fix this?????

I changed the resolution on my monitor to 200% an now it is to big so when I go to control panel the resolution to high to get to that section to reset it.Is there any way to reset the resolution

I have never tried this ever! and it just started like 3 days ago and my hands are always far from the touch pad of my laptop thats why it amazes me when i am typing and the cursor goes to another word thus, mixing the words up! I hate this, I type pretty fast and i cant seem to get things done since it keeps on moving everywhere. Like in this sentence, suddenly it jumps to the first sentence above... What is wrong???????/ Please help me i got a paper to finish this weekend that needs to be submitted this Tuesday morning... HELP!!!!

today I bought a 19'' lcd monitor. It hurts my eyes. i have tried to change color, contrast, etc. has anyone else had this problem? Anything else I can do to fix this problem? (besides hooking the small monitor back up?)

Are computer monitors interchangeable?
I gave my Aunt my old computer, but she wanted to keep her monitor, which is from the mid 90's, because it is smaller. However she says that the computer constantly freezes up. I took the computer home to try to fix it, and it worked perfectly. Is the cause of this the monitor, or am I overlooking something?

This computer is not hooked up to the internet, but is in th same room as their security system. Couldthe Security system be causing some kind of interference?

I mean, I have a set up of one line, via S-Video, to my rear projecting TV and another line to my 19 inch monitor. I want to play Battlefield 2 and other games on the 19 inch, while my relatives can watch their programs (on DVD) pn the large screen. We don't a have separate DVD player, so we have to play it via the dvd player in the computer. Is there a way to split the sounds so the sounds from the DVD can come from the TV speakers and the sounds from the game can from the other speakers connected to the computers? You know, split the sounds?

I made a dual boot Windows-Linux Suse 9.2 pc, and on lcd and a crt monitor it will never get past startup it wont display any graphics, the monitors just either go to sleep or they say signal out of range!. How to fix this so i can use linux again! Software problem? monitor problem?

I have my computer hooked to my 1080p 50" HDTV via VGA connections. It works but the picture isn't taking up the entire screen, there are still about 2" of black on the top and bottom and about 6-7" of black on the sides. How to I get the picture full screen?

my 14 year old son was just on my laptop, he had right clicked > settings> and some how he ended up on MY laptop making the monitor of my Toshiba Satellite switch off.
i restarted the laptop but although the first screen comes up with set up F12 etc after that i can hear the noises but cannot see the screen.

Help me please as my resume etc is on my laptop and i need it

"this program operates best at high color with a screen size of 800x600.YOu can change your monitar settings uder display properties in the control panel."

But where in the control panel under display settings.


How do I change it back to normal.
My screen color looks unusual too
