try hitting....let me remember...i think it's function f8. one of the f keys should have a small icon above it picturing a monitor. That would be the one. there should be a function key down at the bottom of your keyboard somewhere. My toshiba laptop is at home in a closet, or i could tell you exactly. What your sone has done is configured it to use an external monitor only. the f key will toggle it back.
If that doesn't work, boot up in safe mode, by hitting f8 as it's booting up, before the xp logo appears, you will get a low res screen, but you will get a screen here, right click on the desktop, select properties, go to settings, and the menus thereafter differ depending on your graphics card, but you'll find it there, set you display back to the primary lcd screen. reboot normally

maximum of the recent liquid crystal exhibit severe Definition TVs may be connected to a computer. yet no longer the older "photograph tube" TVs. The determination between both isn't nicely matched. examine your computer's documentation as many of the more recent laptops actually have an RCA or SVideo jack that could nicely be utilized to connect the computer to a VCR or DVD participant, and then deliver the signal by that to the gadget. note that with both, all that receives deliver in the VIDEO. you even ought to connect an audio cable from the laptops audio equipment jack to the television (or VCR/DVD) for the sound.
