I have a four year old Dell E151FPb LCD flat panel color monitor that keeps flashing white at increasing freqeuncy. It will flash white, stay like that for a while and then go back to normal although the time that is staying white is getting longer and longer. Does anyone know a way to fix it or is my monitor just dying?

i repartioned the drives and completely formatted it clean using system restore to clean it all up because the drive was getting full and too many startup items tht were missing the uninstall and cant be erased from the registry ,and now the video card can no longer detect drivers for lcd wide-screen monitors. (IT thinks im using a CRT.) but im not.

My new Dell desktop XPS included two sets of cables for the monitor, with the recommendation that I use the DVI (digital video) cables for the best result. But there is no configuration of cables / monitor settings that will work with these cables, so I've been using the analog videos (probably lower quality resolution). I spent 4 hours with Dell tech support, for nothing. Any thoughts here?

Hi, i am soon getting a new pc but i was wondering do i need a new monitor?
the specs of my monitor are:
DeLL 17" inch CRT Flat Trinitron.
The Resolution is 1024x768 and screen refresh rate is 85Hz

This monitor still works fine( just a few scratches)
but my pc is a old compaq 800mhz amd duron processor 512 ram, and nvidia geforce mx 4000.

Should i stick with this monitor when i get my new pc or replace it?

i shipped a comouter monitor from CA to TX through UPS and when i got it there was a whole in the side of the box.... the monitor is screwed up but we cant figure out how to get them to replace/pay for the monitor. they gave us some form to fill out but then they told us not to fill it out on the phone... then they said ok do it but the paper says we need documentation like something that says how much we bought it for but we got it from a friend for free.... do we have our friend write something thats says we paid $xxx to him for the monitor then just jive it to them? thanks!

I have a GeForce 7300 GS video card and a 19 inch monitor. I have the nVidia control panel software but this just sends me to the usual 'display' control panel. I've tried 'showing all modes' in the advanced tab of the display settings and just can not find the place to give me the option of Increasing the resolution. Ideally i want to go to 1600 x 1200 or about that size. Can my Monitor and video card handle it? any help would be greatly appreciated as i have been tearing my hair ou trying to find the spot to do this.

Thanks

Hi! I know there's a way to plug your computer to your TV (use your TV as a computer screen) and that you need a special cable for it... What is it?

Thanks!
