I have an AGP and a PCI card in my computer, i set up a computer for presentations that uses 2 pci cards and it runs fine. There is no conflicts in the system or with any of the drivers, although the duel head card is still easier to set up, but you can get more video ram for each of the displays with the two cards. I have used a 256mb duel head card so that each of the heads has 128mb of memory and the system works great.

I beg to differ.... I think you can have two PCI Bus Video Cards on one pc and have a dual monitor setup... You do need to have an Operating System that knows how to recognize two video cards, I think that means win98 or newer.

I have done it with a motherboard that has one AGP Video slot and added in a PCI video Card, no problems at all.

There are a few minor configuration things you'll have to learn but they should be easy.

It helps if the two cards are exact duplicates.

Just install the drivers and go for it.

Yes, you can.
Just be careful about the conflict from I/O or IRQ.

I have not heard of this. You can get this function for less than $100 though, why waste your time and effort.
