Hi, i am soon getting a new pc but i was wondering do i need a new monitor?
the specs of my monitor are:
DeLL 17" inch CRT Flat Trinitron.
The Resolution is 1024x768 and screen refresh rate is 85Hz

This monitor still works fine( just a few scratches)
but my pc is a old compaq 800mhz amd duron processor 512 ram, and nvidia geforce mx 4000.

Should i stick with this monitor when i get my new pc or replace it?

If you want to keep the monitor, you can. You MIGHT need an adapter to plug it in to the new PC, but it's hard to tell without knowing what the new PC is.

You could easily replace the monitor now, if you please, because monitors universally connect to all computers. Usually, when you buy a new computer, you do not get a monitor with it anyways, so you could replace the monitor now, then replace the computer at a later date and still use your new monitor.
