What would be the problem. like there is sound but its all fuzzy.

I guess you should just generally take a look at all the bits and pieces...

1. Make sure your speakers are plugged in correctly and the connection is a solid one.
2. Try looking at the volume levels on your computer. Check to see the volume is not set too high, or that the volume is too low and your speakers are set too high.
3. Try to update the drivers for your computer's audio. You can do that by first checking what company made your built-in audio/ or your soundcard, going to their website, and downloading drivers for that specific model product.
4. Call up your geeky family member or friend and have them take a good look.

Oh, and don't open up your computer and start tinkering unless you really know what you're doing. You just might bork the system even more!
