One of the monitors im thinking of getting for my pc claims a resolution of 1440 x 900. But when i enter the Display Properties (settings), windows xp does not provide me with such a resolution. How is this fixed after i install my new monitor?

does your graphic card support this resolution? else you will not be able to change it

Your video card does not support that resolution setting. If you want to use that setting, see if the video card manufacturer has an updated driver that will support it, or purchase a new video card that does support it.

Your current montior is not a Widescreen, 1440x900 is a widescreen resolution, just make sure your graphics card support this resolution, it really shouldnt be a problem unless your comptuer is ancient.

go 2 control panel and click help and support u cant chat with alive tech online !!
