I have a strange situation maybe someone can help me out with. I recently posted my desktop computer on Craigslist. It was custom built for gaming, and was worth about $500-$700 easily. I was including all the speakers, monitor, mouse, etc.
I got an email from a guy who said he had a dell laptop and he wanted to trade. It was an XPS and gave me the specs. I agreed and we met halfway, traded the stuff, and all was good. He called me about 3 hours later and asked if I had the Linux disc it came with. I had forgotten to bring it so I asked him to email me his address and I'd send it in the mail. We hung up.
So about 4 hours after the first call, he calls back and says that he just tried installing a wireless network card and that he keeps getting error messages. He says that he realized that, since he emailed a bunch of people, he thought it was a different computer, and wants to come get the laptop. What right do I have, or he have? He took ownership right? He's out of luck?
