my laptop will not charge at times i plug it in sometimes and it does charge but most of the time i plug it in it does not chage at all. plz help me IMPORTANT

also i get the light and it runs off the power it just doesnt charge

There may be something wrong with the actual charger plug. Sometimes they can get a short in them. That happened with my laptop and I had to get another charger. Once I got a new charger, my laptop charged up just fine.

could be a faulty power supply adapter or your battery is just too run down. either way, it's going to cost a few bucks to fix it.
I suggest starting with the adapter as it's much cheaper. check for exposed wires in the adapter's cabling and if it has a light, make sure the light on the adapter itself is on when plugged into the wall outlet. if the light is on and the battery is not charging...
make sure the OS is completely shut down
if it is, you need a new battery

Dont worry about it. It charges when it needs charging, does not charge when it does not need it.
