Okay, I've been having problems with my laptop. So I was doing a system restore. Well I decided I didn't want to wait for that, so I forced my pc to shut off, so I could reboot.
Now it tells me that Winlog or something cannot start because my shell32.dll file cannot be found. then it says something about my msgina.dll needing to be restored.
I've found all kinds of patches and fixes on the net, but none of them say anything about being stupid enough to force quit during system restore. I can't get through the boot stage, and I can't start from my DELL windows XP disk. I don't know what to do other than kick myself in the @$$.
