I might be getting a mac laptop however is there any site that you can buy the games for it. E.G: Movies, Paint shop pro, Sims 2?

there are stores around that are not apple stores that will sell you apple hw and sw. look for authorized apple resellers in your area. For me there is dmac.bc.ca -discount mac, and macstation.
online is good too.
look at versiontracker.com under the mac section for lots of free/share/pay sw.
gimp is excellent open source and free alternative to paint shop.

you'd be surprised to find that MOST software is built for both MAC and Windows. However, being a computer Tech, and having Macs, Windows, and Linux Boxes in my school, I strongly suggest you aim for Windows. That's a little hard for me to swallow, even as I type it. The Mac OSX operating system is one of the best in the biz, based on FreeBSD, but it is lacking in support for a lot of software that you may want to use. You'd best check into availability prior to getting your Mac.

try apple.com > store or you could go to individual software vender's site and see if they sell their product for mac os as well
