I have a Dell Inspiron B120. I dropped it once. The CD ROM still works, but when I push the tray in, it still sticks out a little bit after it latches. I was wondering how hard it is to take apart and adjust so that it won't stick out.

Go online and check Dell Product Support for the B120. You should be able to find at least some service instructions there.

I don't know whether they'll have anything about fixing the CD drive, and to be honest I think you'd be better off to replace it. However, the online service information **should** have something about changing out the CD drive, so at least you could order a replacement drive and install it yourself instead of sending the machine back to Dell. Good luck!
