will a USB 2.0 PCMCIA Adapter work?
where would the power adapter plug into?
will both the adapter and my Dlink wireless work at the same time?

A USB 2.0 PCMCIA adapter will work fine. It would be powered by the PCMCIA slot, so external power will not be needed. As long as you have 2 PCMCIA slots, you can put both card in them.

It will work fine, but fixing the broken jack is easy also.
