This is a scam, do not visit these sites, or give information. I see these at leats 10 times a day, also ones that say, "YOU ARE THE 1 MILLIONTH VISITOR,YOU JUST WON A NEW LAPTOP", they are only there to get you to give your email address, this is nothing more than someone taking advantage of someone else....

Sure. I would give you a free laptop, too. All you have to do is pay $8000 for my car worth $800 and I will throw in a $600 laptop. Any takers?

Like the old adage goes, "if it's too good to be true, it's not."

When it comes to personal details such as credit card information, bank draft information, e-mail address, physical address, full name, SSN, etc. we need to be cautious as we do not know what we'll get in exchange for that "free laptop."

You have to agree to a certain number of 'offers'like joining talk talk, getting insurance quotes, join book clubs and so on. And there are quite a lot you have to accept to qualify. Prob cost you less to buy a laptop, plus you will be in spam hell within two days.

It is too good to be true.
Good way for them to get a list of all the easy marks and suckers.
Easy way to collect email addresses and then sell them to spammers.

you right
nothing is free in this world
usually in exhcange for your info you must sign up or subscribe or buy something and agree to recieve tons of spam in exchange for a given item, there is a promo for a "free" xbox 360 right now, and though they may be giving it away "free", you must agree to subscribe and sing up for various services and even buy some items from a given vendor.

Spam, don't go there, you will regret it, people who you trust gives you stuff for nothing, family, friends, not some web site offering freebies.
