Getting the blue screen of death when I start up windows, the machine is a DELL INSPIRON 5150, not sure what the problem may be and the specific error message seems to be not on the internet so i cannot find information about it.

Since i couldnt figure out how to reply im starting a new thread, remember that this computer is a laptop the information that was posted was helpful. However i took the entire laptop apart and it has no ribbon cable, the harddrive is connected directly to the motherboard. I cannot access windows to change any settings, but i know that i have not lost anything. Should i replace the harddrive or is the component on the motherboard itself shot ?

My Quest A420's hinge on the left hand side has developed a crack just above it. I bought this from Evesham micros in June 2006. Will my warrentee cover this?
I looked it up on the interent and found that other laptops have this same problem. Oh and just to add insult to injury the 'W' key has become very temperamental. I.e. you have to press it about three times before it finally types
Thankyou - Any advice welcome

One week ago I opened my laptop, turned it on and nothing happened. Screen is black and none of the keys work. The power supply seems to work as the yellow battery light is lit continuously as well as the blue power and internet lights. The computer has not been dropped or anything spilled on it. I thought it might be "asleep", but the function Zzz buttons won't work for me either. The only thing that I can hear is the fan. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

And I am really confused, having no idea which brand I can trust. Please give me any advise you have! Personal experience very much welcomed! Thank you all in advance.

I have a Toshiba laptop, model M115-S3094. It has a video card built in to the processor, but I'd like to install a stand-alone video card for better video quality. Is that possible? How difficult is it?

Most of commercials have specific target of audience. They don’t tell us straight but we can tell if it’s for men, women, children, or teenagers. Alienware commercial has no specific target of audience. Commercial shows exterior images of the computer and it ends with the whole shot of computer. I searched the Alienware product in internet and I found that Alienware is for serious gamers. Also it’s very expensive compares to other popular PC brand. Nothing in the commercial gives consumers that it’s for serious gamer or people who need powerful graphic processing computer. Yes, Alienware’s commercial is simple, clean, and somewhat entertaining, but it’s unclear whom they want to sell it. It feels like, they don’t even want to sell their product.
