There are to many factors and personal needs to determine what is the best computer for everyone.

I have used Gateway, dell, HP and Sony and I prefer Sony myself. But the only computer I have had bad experience with is Dell.

Hi.

The best computer is the one best suited to your needs. What I think you want to know is which brand is the best, in which case I'd suggest you take into account the following: customer care, warranty, offers, etc, etc. It all basically depends on how well a company is organized. Other than that, HP had most sales last year (which speaks best for their customer care and products), while Vaio from Sony have always been more exclusive and pricey. On the other hand, you won't get any more performance from a computer with a Sony or HP tag, than from one without a name tag at all.

Like I said, it all basically depends on what you're looking for. That's all.

Regards,
TK
