I am a student. I want to buy a laptop. But i don't know which laptop is suitable for me. I don't play game. Only use it to watch movie and go internet.
Could you give me some advises?( Which brand is good and the model of it)

any laptop with these minimum figures
100 GB hard drive
Dual core/core 2 duo intel processor
1gb memory
128mb shared graphics memory.

if ally ou want to do is watch movies, go online and write papers... just find the dirt cheapest.. look for sunday morning newspaper sales.. find all the good nerdy papers, best buy, comp usa, circuet city, those things... and look to see if there are any sales... you can get a nice laptop with more features then just the one's youve specified so far for under 500 bucks.. =) you can sometimes get student discounts... message me if you would like me to further assist you in finding one with other details.. =) I can help you find a specifc one to go after...

most have dells because theyre not that expensive. watching movies... do you download them or stream them off the internet or play dvds? if you download, then ull need around 100+ GB harddrive. u only need 512 ram if thats all ure going to be doing. good luck

Get one at a Store. Go to Staples, tell them what you want to do, and they will hook you up.

But, I would get a computer, that would do it all, most do what you asked. Reason I say get it, if you don't like it, its easier to sell if it has more abilities.

Or if you want to be cheap, You need a P4 OR HIGHER, you may find someone who wants to see a older one, and you could get a great deal.

nicely i'd if money counts and also you're broke get a dell and then get a computer cooling fan that you position your computer on you'll locate at bestbuy ot circut city. in spite of in case you get an alienware witch is truly sturdy for video games you should nevertheless get the cooling pad

Try Averatech, they are made in the same places as every other laptop, but they cost less..
