OK it's been a while since I've done this so just trying to make sure I've got it right.

My Dell XPS laptop's performance has been sluggish. I'm running XP and have the OEM CD plus my drivers CD. I want to reformat my hard drive and reinstall XP. My question is how I reformat the HD. Do I simply boot XP, shell out to the C:\ and type "format c:"? Then reboot with the Win XP CD in the drive and install XP?

If I missed something let me know.

Hi all,

I found this Gateway MT3705 notebook from this site. It comes with the new Windows Vista Premium Edition.
Looks good to me and wanted to know what you thought of the price?

Here is where the deal is at:

i am having truoble with secondlife.com...ive downloaded it ok but it just freezes when i go to play it. I have a newish laptop, I have 29gb space left on my drive so i think that is plenty to support this. What else could be stopping it from working...? Other than this everything runs fast! Thanks in advance
