I have a choice of the following:
1
1.73 GHz intel coreDuo T2250 (32 bit) with 2GB or ram
or:
2
CoreDuo2 T5500 ( simliar Ghz) with 1GB or ram

1's max memory is 2gb while 2 can be upgraded to 2gb ( but it would cost nearly $250 alot for me ontop of the price)

So which is better, i will be getting vista preinstalled on it and plan on upgradeding in about 2 years time. I want a machine that will be fast and not be "old" in 6 months. I currently own an amd64 bit 3400+ 512ram.

I just got a New Dell Laptop (6400) now that laptop stopped working when I unplugged the power cord. It doesn't even matter if the computer is on when the power is remove, if that is the case the computer turns off. What is wrong?? How do I fix it?? Anyone else have this error happening?? Thanks.

I just reformatted my computer and reinstalled everything. Initially it all worked. As I reinstalled things and I don't know what did this my system sounds stopped working. When I go into the sounds panel and choose a sound for an event the 'play' button doesn't even work. Someone please help!!

I don't know which one to get!
15.4 = better for watching movies, easier on the eyes?
14.1 = nice to carry around, cool because smaller

but then I don't know how much I will be carrying the computer around and how it is to view a 14.1 inch screen for a long time.

So, for those of you who have 14.1 inch, do you wish you had bought a 15.4 instead?

Also, if you know, can you tell me about the different choices I have for internet at home. Which do you recommend?

Its a Toshiba Satellite 1800 series. 256 RAM 20 GB HD. Win XP. The laptop says the battery is fully charged. If I run it off the battery, it discharges normally, then shuts off before the battery discharges. If I take out the battery, and run it off the adapter, it shuts off. If I put the battery in and run the adapter at the same time, it still shuts down. But, if I take out the battery and run it in safe mode on the adapter. It stays on all night. I have disabled the hibernation and standby modes. I have run a virus scan (AVG) and an ewido on line malware scan. All come out clean.
