I just got a New Dell Laptop (6400) now that laptop stopped working when I unplugged the power cord. It doesn't even matter if the computer is on when the power is remove, if that is the case the computer turns off. What is wrong?? How do I fix it?? Anyone else have this error happening?? Thanks.

your probably going to want to contact dell about that since its probably a battery problem.

usually with the new dells u have to let them charge for i think its 3-5 hours before they will run on their own so just let it charge and if that doesnt work call dell customer support which should be on like the box or the papers or something and ask them ... this happened to my new dell laptop also and i just let it charge and it was fine

leave the cord on all night with the intent of charging the battery...if it does it again replace the battery..either shot battery or board.

Bad or not fully charged battery. Let it charge and try it again.
