No software that requires Mac OS 9 will run since Apple no longer supports Mac OS 9 on the new Intel systems. However, most software that ran on your G4 in Mac OS X will run on the Intel Macs all be it possibly a little slower than software made specifically for the newer platform.

Anything that ran on the G4 will run on the Intel just fine. Macs are much better at that than Windows.

Do you mean OS software as in OS X or do you mean programs to install onto it. If you are talking OS then NO. If you are talking programs, yes they will install on it.
