My lab top is about 2 years old and it came with a standard ATI RADEON IGP 345M. I am trying to play 2007 EA SPORT GAMES. Ex. PGA 07', NBA Live 07, Madden 07. What is the best upgrade for this specific purpose. I'm not interested in other games. Just the sports. Do I need a high price one? What is best for my needs?

I have a note book 3 yrs old with XP professional. I installed scanner and webcam. Since then the computer kept crashing. Today I tried to restore to August 25th and since then it does not even start. It kept saying dumping physical memory and then restart. I have not backed my files. I wonder how I can back up and then restore it. Should I take this to a store such as Best Buy or should I be able to fix. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have an iBuddie XP...well really it is my friends computer, but I am trying to help her out...all I know is that I plugged in the wireless adapter that she has for it, and it didn't read it, so then I went through the help thing on there and it told me how to check the USB but the USB ports said that they were not being read, so then I thought well let me try something that I know works, and I plugged in my memory stick, and that did not work either. So I do not know what is wrong or how I can fix it...can anyone at all be of some assistance, PLEASE?? Thank you so much.

I have a 60 GB Western Digital Scorpio in my Dell Latitude C600. After a reformat and losing 20% of the data for my music website, now I'm getting BSODs off the charts and random reboots, programs exiting by itself constantly. Usually it's because of something with the ntfs.sys, pci.sys thing.

The diagnostic utility for WD drives always detects errors and bad sectors in the complete scan and chkdsk reveals more...now I may have to use the WD utility to zero my hard drive...but what exactly is zeroing a hard drive and will I be able to clean install Windows XP after writing zeros to the drive because now its getting ridiculous.

I'm looking to purchase the D820 and am comparing it to the inspiron 9400. The 9400 is gaming capable, but since the D820 is more of a business laptop, I wanted to know if I can play games like Half-Life 2, Doom 3 and some new games with the 512MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 120M TurboCache. The 9400 comes with a 7900GS which is built for gaming, but will the Nvidia Quadro handle some light gaming tasks?

Last year we thought the hard drive crashed, but after months of not being used, it booted up and ran fine. The only problem is, it will not run unless it is plugged into AC power. It will charge the battery, and it shows that the battery is fully charged, but as soon as the AC power is disconnected, the computer shuts itself off. I have checked all my settings and they are all set to switch to battery power when disconnected. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
