The Best and Fastest Way would be a USB Switch HUB, you can connect multiple items at one time, off of one usb port on the Latitude. Good Luck


And they DO Sell, Adaptors for the Optical Drives to convert to USB...

I believe only latitudes that were meant to have an external CD (The very light ones that used the CD Cage) had the external connector for a highspeed cable to a CD or External HD. My C610 (Being full sized) does not have this but uses the internal bay. I did get a cable to plug a floppy into the printer port, but this port is way too slow for a CD.

Check support.dell.com, but I don't think its offered for that model

ya, assuming you mean that both of them are external, a USB port would be the best, make sure taht you get a usb 2.0 splitter as im pretty sure the lattitude C has 2.0 on it. The only difference is speed, the reg. usb was first, then in th past yr or 2 theyve come out with one thats like 3 times as fast transfer called USB 2.0
