Also, do I need to go into the BIOS and change any settings? If so, how is this procedure done?

I have a vast collection of movies and I'm wanting to store them all on my computer for easy access any time, not just when I'm at home. What would be a good external hard drive to get to store these with ease so I don't use up all of my computer's memory.

I want to know what device i need to make regular microphones work in my computer? Is it a usb mixer that I need?

My friends and I are trying to do a online radio talk show.

All I have is a webcam with a mic in it, and that works nice, but I want to be able to run around thee to four mics and a mixer with some cd players.

Please give me any info you can on what i need to get regular mics and dj mixers to work with my regular no thrills PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For example, if I buy a Dell with integrated graphics, then add a budget graphics card latter, would this give me a better system than just buying it with the equivalent budget graphics card that they offer on their website? Let's say that the prices for both are the same.

Am I trying to get too cute (they're pretty much the same thing), or will this give me a better system?

I have actually a couple questions.

1. I have a GeForce 6150SE Video Card. Yes, I know it's not good. I was wondering, would overclocking the card make my games look better/run smoother? It's just going to be until I can get a better card, hopefully in the near future.

2. If yes to the above question, how do I OC my card?

3. What are the negative effects of OC?

Here's the deal. I have a homebuilt system that is teaching me as I go along. It's been about 2 years since I overhauled it, and I'm attempting to get a new video card to work in it.

System setup:
P4 2.8ghz processor (non dual or quad core)
2gigs RAM
550wt PowerLabs Power Supply
DVD Drive, 140Gig Texas Instruments HD, ect.

Old graphics card: ATI Raedon X800GT 256mb onboard ram.
New graphics card: nVidia GeForce 8600GTS, 512 mb DDR3 ram (both cards sit in the PCI slot).

Problem:
Ever since installing the new card, I'm having atrocious frame rates. I've installed multiple sets of drivers, I've reinstalled windows, I've called tech supports, ect. I am able to return the GeForce as defective.. but after I boxed it up I plugged inm y Raedon and the framerate problems are still persisting (albeit not as badly) so I'm not sure it's the card.. think ing it may be a power supply issue.

Does anyone have any recommendation on what I could do to turn this mess around? Thanks!

I just bought a new intel iMac that has a 1gb 5300 RAM module inside of it. I was wondering if it's possible to combine that with a 2gb 6400 RAM module, or if they both have to be either 5300 or 6400?

Is there a limit to the number of USB Hubs you can link together? For example, could you plug one 7 port USB hub into one USB port on your computer, then plug another 7 port USB hub into the original 7 port hub? Im talking about daisy chaining Usb hubs, so that potentially you've got 13 USB devices going into the one USB port on your PC.

i have a psu with a 200w dc output.(okay thats bad but thats for my old comp)so guys im currently using a xfx geforce 6200 with 256mb ddr2 and i plan to upgrade to a x1650pro for less than 50 bucks ( a very good deal) but it consumes 8 watts more power. my current rig uses 207watts, a little over my psu's output but a x1650pro will use 215 watts altogether, which will push my psu even further by 8 watts so should i upgrade my graphics or change the psu
