I have actually a couple questions.

1. I have a GeForce 6150SE Video Card. Yes, I know it's not good. I was wondering, would overclocking the card make my games look better/run smoother? It's just going to be until I can get a better card, hopefully in the near future.

2. If yes to the above question, how do I OC my card?

3. What are the negative effects of OC?

Geforce 6150SE is integrated graphics. It is part of the motherboard chipset. It only shares memory with system RAM. Better not mess with it and just do the overclocking on the processor.
All the graphics overclocking tools out there are for discrete cards. You can have signifcant 3D graphics improvement just by installing a graphics card. Consider this good bang for the buck option:

Your motherboard and BIOS needs to work together to overclock. Typically what you have is a external clock generator with a serial input that controls the output clock speed. The BIOS needs to be able to control the serial input and display in the setup what it is adjusting the clock outputs to be. Notice that this implies that the clock needs to be generated external to a core logic chip, meaning it is typically for devices that get plugged into a socket. If your motherboard supports this then it should be intuitive from the BIOS setup screen how to set this up.

In all CMOS electrical devices the power dissipation is proportional to the speed that you switch the transistors on and off. So you have to work harder to cool the system when you over clock.

Also there is a margin in an electrical system for clock speed variation. This is usually there for stability and good performance. when you overclock you are basically saying you don't care if the system becomes unstable, you just want to run it as fast as you can for as long as it stays stable and work. Eventually every system will fail as you raise the clock speed above the intended design margin. How far you can go is a matter of cooling and mostly luck over whether you got a fast or slow manufactured version of the chip.

1. Yes it will make your games run a little bit better and smoother (but probably not noticably unless you REALLY clock it)

2. Not sure for GeForce. I use Tray Tools for my ATi card.

3. Negative effects are that it runs hotter and lowers life of the card.

A GeForce 6150SE is most likely onboard video, not a separate card. It's not possible to overclock onboard video.

The negative effect of overclocking is the possibility of burning up your card. The faster it goes, the hotter it gets.
