I have WinTV2000 and I'd like to watch a movie played on a VCR. I already checked, the VCR is hooked up, on, and playing the film, but I can't figure out how to make WinTV show it to me.

I've played movies like this on WinTV before but that was ages ago and I don't remember how to anymore...

I just ordered a new external hard drive that is 320gb online. I found out that Windows XP cannot format anything over 30gb in FAT32. This harddrive is in NTFS. And it is necessary for me to have this hdd in FAT32. What other ways can I format this into FAT32?

my computer can't recognize this USB when i plug in and I wanna store my data on it...what am I gonna do? When I plug it in the usb storage, allerting sounds is notifying but cant see its added to my removable device. does anyone knows to solve this problem pls.? Thank you

my disk drive is Lightscribe Capable but i have no idea how to use it is there a special program or somthing i know you have to buy certin disk but i dont know how to label something on the disk.

A friend of mine custom-built my computer for me, and although I see four slots near the back left corner of the computer, in which I have already inserted a video card, I can't find any memory stick/card slots anywhere! Someone showed me what they look like on a computer at work, but nothing similar appears in my computer. Someone else said they should be by the fan, but I seem to have 2 fans, one at the back right corner of the computer, and one at the front right corner, near the hard drive. The guy who built my computer isn't being very helpful or responsive to my emails about this matter. Can anyone help me find my memory card slots?

I am trying to use my new web cam on windows xp
After using the install disk and then rebooting and plugging in the camera it states
"you have no video capture hardware for you pc"

The hardware is surely the camera itself.
I already had this web cam working on another computer with windows 98se no problem, so I am stuck.

I just installed a gig of RAM to my Windows laptop because everytime I started up a game or something a big blue screen would come up and restart the computer and acoording to Microsoft and Compaq this is RAM overdrive or something and it is caused when your computer dosnt have enough RAM,so I installed the RAM and to be sure it worked out correctly I went to my computer and clicked properties and the RAM did show up but when I started a game the same thing happened. So I was wondering if after you install RAM if you have to chang some settings?

I have tried to find reviews for the Lexar Sport 2GB but have not come across any more than six. Of the six, two have stated that the 2GB Lexar Sport is a lot slower than the 1GB model, that Lexar did not make improvements to the speed to make up for the increase in size. Does anyone happen to know if this is true??

I just bought a new HP Pavilion dv9000 and I am interested in getting the Logitech Z-10 speakers. What ports are necassary for it to work. Is it just a USB port or does it also need one of those green ports becuase i don't think my laptop has that. Please help!

I'm using a jump drive from Best Buy, and I'm trying to use it on my old Windows 98 PC as well as my Windows XP PC, but my W98 doesn't even find it in "My Computer" and I think it's because I've only got USB 1 instead of 2.0 -- is there a way to verify this?

What is the cutoff point in video card selection, wherein there would be no performance difference between on (recent) motherboard built in VGA and the video card in question.

Graphics and Cad are the prerequite factors.

How could the difference between video cards be determined without purchasing and actually testing them.

I have built a custom computer about 2 months ago and when i added an internal dvd burner, no drive shows up in my computer or in device manager. When i boot to bios it says i have the dvd burner as slave and theres no primary, i need help!
~amd 4200 x2 duel core,
~2 250gb sata harddrives,
